Occasionally I loose my mind. In this email I was responding to an innocent victim about the Memphis job market.

Personally, I'm trying to flee Memphis, but to each her/his own.

Thanks. We do try to maintain a perspective here.

Oh so HE IS moving here! You sure took your sweet time to drop that one on me sister. Just when you had me thinkin' some foxy techno-fan was writing me a come-hither you close in for the kill.
Or are you playing a subtler game? Is the price of your attentions a job for your husband? Never! I may have thought of you wistfully as I read the words "> I'm fleeing" (ok, ok, "> I") - but to betray the man to whom you have given a sacred oath by the diety or dieties of your choice - that is too much, madam! I will not give your husband a job. In fact, I'm insulted you asked.
But to answer your questions; I'm not sure the state of video technology in this city. I would suggest looking at the top TV stations: WHBQ (FOX), WREG (CBS), WPTY (ABC), WMC (NBC). There is also a company named MPL here in town that does a number of pre- and post-production services and they probably know everybody else around town who is anybody in that industry.
But whatever you do, do not mention this correspondence to your husband. The things you have said - they would hurt him so much. And we may well never speak again.
No! No. Do not speak. I know how hard this is for you. But I must go. (*sob*) I must go to my castle and feed the lion. Duty calls. (*bravely*) But you can remember fondly that for one fleeting instant, you reached out to somebody through email, to make that distant contact, that ephemeral questing ghost of a simple request, and came back with riches of words and images that were totally unexpected and uncalled for.

Needless to say, I never heard back from her.
