I was born in 1945 and therefore of the right age to be warped by all the ads for $15 Lugers in the back pages of Sports Afield. Drafted out of Duke Law School and given a motorized tour of parts of Vietnam and Cambodia with the 11th Armored Cavalry in 1970. Came back. Finished law school.
