I had the dubious honor of creating that first WeaponsCon program book (using MacPaint and Aldus PageMaker, no less). Irv Koch had to manually paste in the photos before he took the proofs to the printer. Although many of the materials were lost when my Apple HD 20 died, some things managed to survive. Here, for your entertainment, are some juicy bits.

Not one single person died at the convention.
Quite a few of Atlanta's finest showed up on Saturday morning and were very engaged and interested in what we were doing. A few came back with their kids and had a good time.
