Your Loving Arms

I saw you shyly look at me
and then you turned away
I wanted to ask if you were free
but didn’t know what to say

I thought I could charm you
with tales of far away
but guessed I couldn’t reach through
in only half a day

I dreamed a dream of what could be
and took a rouge’s gamble
I commanded you to kiss me
and your kisses were quite ample

I set a sweet trap to lure you
and ensnare you with my charms
but I, in turn, was trapped too
by your loving arms
