You I Find

You laughed at me and I could see
the fire in your heart.
Burning brightly, dreaming sweetly,
a never ending start.

One kiss I gave, like a knave;
gone in the night.
Stunned look, innocence took
with nary a fight.

Words of desire transmitted by wire
across the sleeping states.
Words of lust, told in trust
on secret unknown dates.

Passing time and loosing my mind
with dreams of things forbidden.
Thoughts of pleasure made to measure
with passion best kept hidden.

At the very least, your words of peace
will calm my stormy mind.
But still I pray to see the day
I awake and you I find.
