Loving You

Loving you a time or two
made me feel so much alive.

Watching you and all you do;
how quickly you get wise.

Touching you, trying to woo
your heart to be next to mine.

Wanting you, and alone too,
I was hoping you to find.

Telling you, honest and true;
it wasn’t just a game.

Hearing you as you did coo,
you wanted me just the same.

Knowing you, when you were blue,
you needed a friendly smile.

Liking you, you knew I knew
I'd tarry with you awhile.

Laughing with you, fondness grew;
you are a woman with style.

Whether you go, I go, or we stay,
I will treasure your loving ways.
