Meeting Her
|
It was a night of southern skies
and the world was a bigger place.
I drank in the depths of her eyes,
feasted on the sight of her face.
Ruby arcs formed warm lines of fire
as I watched her soft laughing lips.
Breasts filled with hot desire
above her shapely curving hips.
Her tawny hair of curl and wave
framed her mischievous smile.
Her charming nature made me stay
and I wanted to stay for a while.

We talked and laughed and dreamed our dreams
and we fashioned our tender night.
We danced and walked in city themes
and swam in the dark and the light.
We touched places tender and deep
with thought and word and longing hand.
We kissed so hard our hearts did leap
and left us swaying where we stand.
We kissed goodbye with tender sighs
and mumbled words of fond regret.
I knew as I looked in her eyes
that I would see her again yet. |
